1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the CarVault: Auto Tracker mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Subscription Service

2.1 Subscription Plans

CarVault offers optional subscription plans that provide access to premium features. Subscription pricing is displayed in the App before purchase.

2.2 Auto-Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You will be charged the current subscription price at the start of each new billing cycle. Charges will appear as "CarVault" on your device's payment method.

2.3 Free Trial (if applicable)

If a free trial is offered, your subscription will automatically renew at the standard price after the trial ends, unless you cancel before the trial expires.

2.4 Billing

  • Subscriptions renew on a monthly or annual basis (depending on your plan)
  • Billing occurs on the same date each month/year
  • If your payment method fails, we may attempt to retry charges
  • Refunds are handled in accordance with your device's app store policy (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)

2.5 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by RevenueCat, our authorized payment processor. RevenueCat handles subscription management, billing, and payment security. By subscribing, you agree to RevenueCat's processing of your payment information. For more information, visit: https://www.revenuecat.com/

3. Subscription Cancellation

3.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings:

  • iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > CarVault > Cancel Subscription
  • Android: Google Play > Account > Subscriptions > CarVault > Cancel

3.2 Cancellation Effective Date

Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period. No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.

3.3 Reactivation

You can reactivate your subscription at any time by re-subscribing through the App.

4. Advertising

4.1 Google AdMob Ads

CarVault displays ads powered by Google AdMob. These ads are served based on your interests and may change over time.

4.2 User Consent

By using this App, you consent to the display of ads. AdMob may collect data to deliver personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device's privacy settings.

4.3 Ad Policy

We do not control the content of third-party ads. We are not responsible for any products, services, or content advertised by third parties.

5. Fees and Payment Methods

5.1 Accepted Payment Methods

Subscriptions are billed through your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) using your registered payment method.

5.2 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect on your next billing date.

5.3 Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your subscription. Taxes will be calculated and displayed at purchase.

6. Refund Policy

Refunds are subject to your device's app store policy:

  • Apple App Store: Refund requests must be made through Apple (Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions)
  • Google Play Store: Refund requests must be made within 48 hours of purchase

CarVault does not issue refunds directly; all refund requests must be processed through your app store.

7. User Obligations

7.1 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • Ensuring accurate payment method information
  • Keeping your device's OS and App updated

7.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Share your subscription with unauthorized users
  • Attempt to circumvent payment or subscription mechanisms
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • The App will meet your specific needs
  • Data accuracy is guaranteed in all cases

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarVault and its developers shall not be liable for:

  • Lost data or vehicle records
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Any damages arising from your use of the App

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted in the App. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
